- National curriculum Attainment Tests taken in Year 8 or 9 dependant on ability.
- All students will take a GCSE in Mathematics
- Most able students will take GCSE Statistics
- Outstanding students will take Additional Mathematics

- Symmetry, nets and constructing triangles
- Distance/time graphs
- Algebra
- Probability
- Ratio's and circumferences
- Converting units
- Proportion and percentages
- Pythagoras
- Average-mean medium and mode also range
- Trigonometry
To study all these subjects we use plenty of different resourses, some of these are text books for all different key skills for each year and level you are on. White boards where the maths teacher will demonstrate how to do the work. Smart boards which are electronic boards where the teacher and pupil will demonstrate all sorts of useful things and also computers where we can do practise exams and revise for examination for the future.
KS4 study Edexcel modular course B, which is 3 module exams and no coursework. Pupils study Unit 1 & 2 in Yr10 and study the biggest unit (55%) Unit 3 during Yr11
All students study Functional Skills in Maths at either Level 1 or Level 2 and take an examination by the end of Year 10.
