Grades / Levels
Autumn Spring and Summer achievement grades/levels are recorded for every student in each subject. These results are monitored by our curriculum team and appropriate interventions are put into place where students are not making expected levels of progress. Students who are making excellent progress are rewarded in celebration assemblies.
The grade/level for each term may vary due to the nature of the course as many subject areas are offering a modular approach to learning. However, the summer grade/level is a reflection on the overall performance of your child. Levels are decimalised to indicate how close a student is to achieving the next level up. For example 5.0 means your son has achieved the minimum requirement to be awarded a level 5. Whereas 5.9 means they are very close to achieving a level 6.
