The Learning Resources Centre is open throughout the day. During lesson times the LRC is in constant use by both class groups and individual students. The LRC is available to all students before and after school and at break and lunchtimes. You may use the Centre to read, and research information. There are computers available for you to use for research and for typing up work, and after school the Centre is open for you to do homework.
Occasionally the Centre will be closed for special events and a notice to this effect will be posted on the door.
LRC Behaviour Policy
Everyone is welcome in the LRC, we try hard to make it a pleasant place for all users.
To help us do this we would ask that you use the centre for genuine purposes. These are:
- Study
- Read
- Borrow resources
- Purchase items from the shop
Rules
When using the centre we would ask that the following rules be followed:
- No food or drink to be consumed.
- Bags and rucksacks to be stored in the bag tank.
- The use of mobile phones, games, I-pods etc are forbidden.
- Computers to be used for college work only.
- Pupils not using the centre appropriately will be asked to leave.
Shop
The LRC runs a shop selling calculators, USB sticks, stationery items and exam packs. Items can be bought from the shop before and after school and at break and lunchtimes. School Supplies
