Winton Academy has Teaching School Hub status

Teaching school hubs are school-led centres of excellence for teacher and leadership training and development. New since September 2021, there are 87 hubs across the country and are made up of some of the best schools and multi-academy trusts in the country.

The Swindon & Wiltshire Teaching School Hub is based at Winton Academy and serves schools across the boroughs of Swindon and Wiltshire. In addition, we provide programmes across our multi-academy trust, United Learning. We are proud to provide high-quality professional development to teachers at all stages of their careers.

Teaching school hubs promote and deliver other high-quality evidence-based professional development to school leaders and teachers. At the heart of this development is our students; we want to ensure that students in this country receive the best educational opportunities, and that means investing and supporting the continued professional development of our teachers.
