PSHE

Why is PSHE important?

At Glenmoor and Winton Academies, we believe in the development of the whole child. Alongside academic growth we also aim to develop students’ social, moral, spiritual, cultural and emotional understanding.

Our PSHE curriculum is designed to give students the knowledge and skills required to keep themselves healthy and safe, thrive as informed and contributing members of society, and live happy and fulfilled lives.

Our curriculum reflects six important areas: relationships, mental and physical health, government and politics, financial education, justice and the law and the Glenmoor and Winton Academy values. Through the study of these themes, we prepare students for challenges and opportunities in society as British citizens.
